Professional Development Committee

The AAERT Professional Development Committee consists of a Chairperson and an unlimited number of Committee members. The work for this committee is extensive, since it is responsible for the development of programs for the annual Executive Forum, the Annual Conference and any webinars that are proposed for the good of the membership.

Specific tasks for the Committee might include:

• Exploring the viability of Regional Workshops and helping to organize content and locations
• Examining possible re-design of the AAERT Annual Conference and/or Executive Forum
• Identifying and securing AAERT program speakers and sessions
• Identifying cities and hotels for future events, including recommending proposals to the Board

A one-year commitment is required. The Committee meets every other week throughout the year via teleconference.

Committee members are required to be AAERT members in good standing and are encouraged to attend the AERT Annual Conference and the Executive Forum.
