Michael McGrew
With a distinguished 20-year career in the Air Force, including an additional 3 years as a contractor, Michael dedicated his professional journey to the field of military intelligence. As a cryptologic linguist, he navigated the challenging task of capturing and transcribing audio under the most adverse recording conditions, showcasing his unwavering commitment to excellence.
Throughout his tenure, Michael assumed various management roles, where he took pride in training and mentoring hundreds of young airmen, imparting his expertise in the intricate facets of military intelligence.
Michael’s technical journey extends to creating microcontroller-based devices from bare electronic components and writing countless lines of code in multiple languages for personal, professional, and government agencies. Several applications that he developed during his professional life are still in use by former work offices, a testament to his enduring impact.
Since March 2023, Michael has directed his talents towards supporting the VoiceScript line of products. Drawing on his technical proficiency, honed attention to detail from military service, and an ear and expertise for audio developed during a year as a podcaster, he has become an indispensable asset to both VoiceScript clients and staff. Michael has played a crucial role in solving perplexing audio mysteries and contributed to developing processes to remedy them. While he may not be a certified audio engineer, his knowledge is more than sufficient to assist the average listener.
