At the 2025 Virtual Annual Membership Meeting on June 18, AAERT officially installed two continuing board members; Susan LaPooh and Jennifer Lindeman, and welcomed two new board members, Patricia Falls and Margy Lowry. We’re pleased to welcome these accomplished individuals, whose experience and perspective will strengthen our association’s leadership.
We are proud to share that this year saw the largest field of qualified candidates and the highest voter participation in AAERT history. A tie in the voting results led to one additional member being elected to the Board. Since Jay Gross stepped down in 2024 and his seat remained unfilled, and because the bylaws allow for a board size ranging from 7 to 11, the current board voted to seat both tied candidates. This brings the total board size to 11. Following the installation, the new board met to elect its officers.
Please join us in congratulating each member of the 2025–2026 Board of Directors listed below as they guide our association and industry through continued growth and change.

We would also like to thank Marybeth Burke-Dring, CER, CDR for her 30-year commitment of service to our association. Over the years, she has served three years as Treasurer, chaired both the Finance and Nominating Committees, and played pivotal roles in editing and updating the Best Practices Guide, refining policies and procedures, and guiding the development of our certification programs. Marybeth’s leadership has been both dedicated and transformative, leaving a lasting impact on AAERT. Her voice has always strengthened our community, and as she ends her most recent term of board service, we remain deeply grateful and look forward to her continued involvement in other areas.
