Aimée Robinson has been an independent contractor transcriber since 2010. After spending nine months studying at an online medical transcription school, she started transcribing in the medical field and quickly realized that VR was coming to stay. A very gracious, experienced transcriber took Aimee under her wing, and she began training as a legal transcriptionist.  

Aimée joined AAERT in 2012 and became a Certified Electronic Transcriber in 2014. She has a  passion for passing it forward and training new transcribers. Currently, she is contracting with eScribers to help get new transcribers up to speed and ready to transcribe. 

AAERT has been very helpful along the way since many courts recognize the CET designation. Aimée’s goal as an AAERT board member is to help other transcribers see the value in obtaining their certification and help new transcribers find the training that they need to be successful in this field.
