  Membership Information

AAERT members benefit from the strength of a national organization.  As a group, we can speak with one voice to be heard on various issues which affect the E-Reporting industry.  Join our growing network and enjoy the advantages of peer support.  Across the nation, AAERT members are working together to make a difference in promoting electronic / digital reporting.

  • Our quarterly e-newsletter, The Court Reporter, updates us on legislative issues and industry news.

  • Technology reviews inform us on new products and developments.

  • On-line Directories list members nationwide.

  • National networking opportunities become available, including Internet access to AAERT resources.  Certain supplier discounts and special manufacturers' offers may be offered.

  • Professional liability and disability group insurance plans are available.

  • An annual E-Reporting and E-Transcribing Conference offers opportunities for continuing education, networking, and planning, and gives professionals a voice on specific issues.

  • CER and CET certification testing is conducted semiannually in selected cities, for both analog and digital practitioners.

  • The Certification Test Study Guide is a comprehensive manual for all E-Reporting / E-Transcribing professionals.

  • Our Government Relations Committee works to educate on a national and state basis.
